The remaining shares are held by Tanzanian nationals: Dr. Wilbert Basilius Kapinga (41% shares) and Dr. Gideon Kaunda (10% shares).

Dr Gideon H. Kaunda is a Corporate Lawyer and Communications and Transport Specialist with vast experience in project development and legal advisory services. He is currently the Chairman of Pangaea Securities (EA) Ltd and serves as ad hoc Arbitrator, International court on Aviation and Space Arbitration (IASA) as well as Interim Chairman of the Tanzania's National Investment Company (NICOL). He sits on the Board of the Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF) as Chairman of the Membership Services and Capacity Building Sub-Committee.
Dr. Wilbert Basilius Kapinga is specialised in corporate law, finance law, banking, privatization, telecommunications and competition law and has over 10 years’ experience of transactions and projects in these areas.
Group CEO of Econet Media Limited/Kwesé is Joseph Hundah, who left Modern Times Group for a position at Econet.
